MS ALISON LIM

Alison is a Senior Consultant with Integrative Learning Corporation. She has spent over twelve years in the field of performance management and training and development.

She specializes in teambuilding, creativity and innovation training, emotional intelligence, supervisory development, personal effectiveness and customer service programmes. 

Some of her major clients are Land and Transport Authority, Economic Development Board, Monetary Authority of Singapore, Housing and Development Board, Citibank, BAT, Sime Darby Edible Products, Exxon-Mobil, Apple Computer, Sports Council, Banta, GE Aviation, Paya Lebar Air Base, Ministry of Home Affairs, Ministry of the Environment , Civil Aviation Authority of Singapore and Ministry of Defence.

Prior to working with Integrative Learning Corporation as a senior consultant, Alison was the Vice-President (Human Resources)/Training Manager of UOB Bank. Besides managing the Bank Group’s Training Centre, she was also the HR Relationship Manager of fast growing and dynamic business units and subsidiaries of the Group. She was responsible for the full spectrum of human resources management and development. She was instrumental in launching several HR initiatives for the Group.

Besides corporate training, Alison was also part of the teaching faculty of the Nanyang Technological University. She taught in the areas of organisational behaviour and social psychology. She is currently serving in the Management Committee of the Singapore Training and Development Association. 

Alison graduated with a Masters of Arts in Education and Human Resources, George Washington University and Bachelors of Arts/Social Sciences, National University of Singapore. DR BARBARA TUCKNER

Dr. Barbara Tuckner is an organisational development consultant and has worked with organisations and schools on issues related to teambuilding, leadership, change management, strategic planning and the learning organisation.

In Singapore, Barbara has worked with Principals, Heads of Departments and teachers from Teck Whye Primary, Anglo-Chinese Junior School, ITE Bishan, Ngee Ann Polytechnic, Unity Primary, Naval Base Secondary, Chong Fu Primary and Ministry of Education. She has also conducted in-house workshops for students of St Andrew’s Secondary, The Chinese High School, Anderson Secondary, St Anthony’s Canossian Secondary, Crescent Girls’ School, Ngee Ann Secondary, Singapore Chinese Girls’ School, Anderson Junior College and Hwa Chong Junior College.

Barbara has done considerable work related to Experiential Education and was convener for the International Conference of the Association for Experiential Education (AEE). She provided leadership to over 120 volunteers in the total design and delivery of an international conference, entitled “Integrating Experiential Education”. The conference attracted over 800 attendees. She is also involved in the professional development of staff of Voyageur Outward Bound School, Minneapolis, USA. She led senior executives and their teams in outdoor adventure-based initiatives and problem-solving activities. This included designing training programmes and follow-up strategies.

She was also Associate Director of the Bush Education Leader’s Programme, an innovative leadership programme at the University of Minnesota. She designed change and intervention-based curriculum for principals to improve instructional practice, responsiveness to stakeholders and improve the overall performance for children.

Her expertise, particularly in teambuilding, enables her to train intact teams to be more effective in collaborative team skills and problem solving, thus enhancing overall working relationships among team members.

Her consulting experience covers the entire spectrum of design and support of training systems, curriculum design, course development and delivery, training assessment and evaluation and instructional technology.

Barbara earned her B.S. and an M.A. in Education from the University of Minnesota and her Educational Leadership Doctorate from the University of St. Thomas.

   

 

   
 
  
MS CARMEE LIM 

Carmee Lim is an independent consultant who speaks to educators and parents across Singapore and at international conferences. Her professional background includes work as a teacher of Science and Mathematics at both secondary and pre-university levels in Singapore, Principal of Singapore’s premier girls’ school, the Raffles Girls’ School and Senior Inspector of Schools with the Ministry of Education.

Carmee’s interest over the past 8 years has centred on the educational implications of current neuroscience, cognitive science and educational research for teaching and learning. Her passion in recent years has been in translating those research into classroom practice and making curriculum meaningful for students.

Her favourite hobby is composing and arranging songs for children. 

She is the founder and Chief Education Officer of Jumpstart Kidsport, which offers a multi-sensory play programme to pre-school children. MS CHERYL OBERKIRCHER

Cheryl Oberkircher, M.A., NCSP, is a nationally certified psychologist who received her Masters degree in Psychology from Texas Woman’s University and Bachelor’s degree from Texas Christian University, in Elementary and Special Education. She has more than 25 years of experience in public schools as a teacher and specialist in school psychology.

Cheryl’s teaching experience focused on teaching students with challenging behaviours. Her years of experience in public schools as a teacher and specialist in school psychology; and extensive work with students and teachers provide the expertise to train teachers, students and parents in schools and private settings.

Cheryl teaches and speaks internationally using the Myers Briggs Type Indicator (MBTI) on topics as diverse as personality types, teamwork, communication and career development. For her extensive use of type in her professional work, Cheryl has received the Gordon Lawrence Award for Excellence. She was also awarded the Outstanding School Psychologist in the State of Texas in 1999.

In Singapore, Cheryl has conducted in-house training for the Ministry of Education, Nanyang Girls’ High School, Singapore Chinese Girls’ School, Pei Tong Primary School, ITE Pasir Panjang, Xishan Primary School, St. Margaret’s Secondary School, Kuo Chuan Presbyterian Secondary School and The Civil Service College. Dr. Elizabeth Murphy is a licensed school psychologist and renowned figure in psychological type theory. Enrico is a Principal Consultant with Integrative Learning Corporation. 

He has extensive cross-border experience, having trained in China, Hong Kong, Malaysia, Thailand, Cambodia, Laos and Singapore since 1993. He is able to operate with ease and fluidity across different cultures in the region. He has the ability to converse fluently in English, Mandarin and Chinese dialects such as Hokkien, Teochew and Cantonese, plus Bahasa Malaysia and Bahasa Indonesia.

His key competencies are in coaching, performance management, communication and interpersonal skills, change management, creative thinking skills, values in action, leadership, sales, customer service, building teams, and supervisory skills.

Germaine Tay is a Consultant with Integrative Educorp Pte Ltd.

Prior to her being a Consultant with Integrative, Germaine has worked in a Family Service Centre for more than five years. During her stay there, she was working with and counselling clients of all ages. Besides counselling, she also planned programmes and executed them. She also managed the Youth Club, and specialised in organising and conducting youth camps, youth events and befriending sessions. Germaine was also responsible for training and supervising her junior staff in counselling and social work duties. Ginny Belden is a consultant specialising in organisation learning and development. Her work focuses on helping groups develop the capability for transformational change. MS IVY LIM

Ivy Lim is a Senior Consultant with Integrative Learning & Corporation Pte Ltd.

Ivy is a very experienced and dynamic trainer. She has more than twelve years experience in training and human resource development. She specialises in customer service, presentation skills, performance management, creative thinking, coaching, interpersonal and communication skills. Ivy also facilitates team building, and induction programmes for new employees. Some of her major clients include Pei Chun Primary, Kranji Primary, SAF Warrant Officer School, MINDEF and Land Transport Authority.

At MTV Asia LDC, Ivy managed the MTV University, designed, and delivered orientation and training programmes to employees, provided human resources developmental consultancy to Regional representatives and managed their management and HR conferences. She also facilitated OD projects including Performance Management System, Employee Survey, Library Process and HR Process. Prior to joining MTV Asia LDC, Ivy was a management executive – instructor of School of Methods of Instruction (SOMI), Mindef for four years where she delivered Methods of Instruction (MOI) and Training Development (TD) related courses to SAF Personnel. June specialises in effective communication, interpersonal skills, study skills, presentation, team building and problem solving. Her in-house clients include Northland Primary, Yuan Ching Secondary, Woodsville Secondary, MacPherson Secondary, Nanyang Junior College, Serangoon Junior College and Singapore Management University. 

June is a fully qualified and accredited administrator of the Myers-Briggs Type Indicatorâ, an instrument that helps people understand their psychological preferences, improve relationships and fulfill human potential, all of which form the basis of her training programmes. June is also a certified practitioner in the use of Team Management Systems. She has co-trained and assisted Integrative’s trainers from the US, Malaysia and Australia, many of whom are experts in the fields of organisation development, and management development.

MS KORIYNNE WONG

Koriynne is an Associate Trainer with Integrative Educorp Pte Ltd. She studied German Language at the Goethe Institut in Luneburg for 2 years, and did Business studies at the same time. She also did an apprenticeship in Frankfurt with the Deutsche Genossenschaftsbank.

Koriynne has worked in the Singapore Branch of the same bank for 3 years, after which she started her own business in the high fashion industry, importing from France and Italy. She is very experienced in managing a retail-trade, having done it for the past 21 years. She obtained a degree in Gemology in 1993, and has been in the trade until now.

Besides being competent in the Mandarin and Malay languages, Koriynne also speaks and writes 4 European languages, i.e., English, French, German, and Italian.

Koriynne is pursuing a Bachelor's Degree in Counseling Psychology at the moment with the Australian College for Applied Psychology. She is experienced in counseling troubled teenagers and abused women in general.

After having raised 4 children - 2 young adults and 2 teenagers, Koriynne would like to channel her strong ability in teaching and imparting knowledge to society.

DR MARTHA ALCOCK

Dr. Martha Alcock has more than 20 years of experience as a teacher and trainer of teachers. She has taught elementary, middle school, and high school grades and currently is a Professor of education at Capital University in Columbus, Ohio, USA. She enjoys working with students and teachers of all levels and gives workshops on brain-behaviour relationships at many conferences and schools. 

In Singapore, Martha has worked with teachers and students in Cambridge Primary, Henry Park Primary, Kuo Chuan Presbyterian School, Serangoon Junior College, Griffiths Primary and Anderson Secondary. 

As a Jennings Scholar, Martha also delivered a series of lectures and workshop on Brain and Learning Connections : The Impossible Dream....Isn't. From 1992 till 1995, she was the President of the National Special Interest Group, Brain and Education under the American Educational Research Association. She is currently on the National Board of Directors for the Association for Psychological Type.

She is listed in the Who's Who in American Education and has spearheaded many brain based research projects and published numerous articles on brain behaviour relationships of learning differences.

DR MELINDA LANG

Dr Melinda Lang, is a nationally certified school psychologist who works as an associate psychologist in Birdville Independent School District. 

Her teaching experience includes administering and interpreting intellectual and achievement assessments, and conducting annual reviews and educational planning for students. Her 10 years of experience as a teacher and specialist in school psychology and extensive work with students and teachers provides the expertise to train teachers, students and parents in schools and private settings.

She has presented various seminars on “Personality Type and Communication”, “Brain Research, Experiential Learning and Personality Type”, “Communication and Team Building”. 

Melinda is also certified in the Myers-Briggs Type Indicator, the Murphy-Meisgeier Type Indicator for Children, Hare’s Psychopathology Checklist (Assessment of Violent Offenders) and trained in Attention Deficit-Hyperactivity in Adolescents and Adults. She has also served on the boards of numerous professional organisations including the National Association of School Psychologists, Texas Association of Psychological Type, Dallas/ Fort Worth Regional Association of School Psychologists, National Association of Neuropsychology and others.

Peter is the Managing Principal of Chaos Navigation, Inc, Minnesota, USA and is a Managing Consultant with Integrative Learning Corporation in Singapore. 
He specialises in defining strategic vision, guiding whole-system, cross cultural organisational change, maximising organisational potential and leadership development. He has worked with colleges and universities, non-profit organisations and foreign governments, trade development boards and other industrial sectors such as airlines, life sciences and hospitality. 
He has lectured extensively on strategy, transformational change and leadership issues at Johns Hopkins University, University of Washington, Pepperdine University, University of Monterrey, University of Nevada and Concordia University.
Currently, he is consulting with Grinnell College, Iowa, to assist Faculty, Administration and Staff in strategy development and transformational change.
